By installing or using Rouse you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

What the app is

Rouse is an alarm clock. Setting alarms is free. A subscription unlocks the wake-up tasks, the unexpected second check and the streak statistics. Without a subscription your alarms still ring; they simply dismiss with a single tap.

Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are billed through your app store account.
• A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your app store account settings, or through Settings → Purchase and support inside the app.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may differ by country.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and their refund policies apply. We cannot issue refunds directly, but write to us and we will help you file the request.

Do not rely on it alone for anything critical

Rouse does its best to ring exactly when you set it, and the app guides you through the device settings that make that possible. Even so, an alarm on a phone can fail for reasons outside our control: the phone can be switched off, run out of battery, be silenced, or have its background activity restricted by the manufacturer's software or a system update.

Do not depend on Rouse alone when missing a wake-up would cause you real harm. The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from a missed alarm.

Fair use

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or work around its purchase mechanisms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
